in the -- excuse me. in the prints that this commission should have they use a height above sea level for these homes. now, i've lost it of course. 1335 portolla -- top of sidewalk at center line of the building is where measurements are taken from from what i understand from the building commission. this shows this level above sea level and this is going from the drawings -- the person that submitted the drawings their pictures and calculations. 381.2 feet above sea level at center of building -- excuse me at curb height at center of height. 1325 elevation listed here. this is a rise of 3.5 feet. the builder is saying their building is going higher because of the rise of portolla drive and we have three and a half feet of rise between the two lots. the roof line for 1337 is listed here. this proposed roof line is 420 feet. this is a 6-foot difference almost. if that house is to rise to its full height it's going to block out -- excuse me, my sunshine from my upper floors. sunshine on my deck and backyard

let me just get my notes. so i am selena [inaudible] and here representing the juvenile justice and nonprofit based in san francisco and provides services and technical assistance and policy data driven analysis. cjcj has been reporting on san francisco data for the past decade. we have issued multiple reports in 2004, 2005 and 2012 documenting a 40 year history of increasingly racially desperate arrest practices and the policies resulting in these trends. while african-americans make up 6% of san francisco's population they accounted for 54% of drug sales and arrests and 40% of drug sales arrests in the city. that is african-americans were 18 times more likely to be arrested for dealing drugs and 10 times more likely to be arrested for possession of drugs than the city's other races combined. this large disparity is not explained by racial differences in drug use as estimated by drug deaths, so from 1995 to 2009, 62% of drug deaths were white non latinos and 22 were african-american and 10% latinos and asian

he was not in contact with me or mr. murphy. a hearing got scheduled, i wasn't notified about the hearing. normally i'm the applicant and i get a call or letter telling me to go down and pick up the poster and bring it out to the site. and that has happened in every case. in this case it didn't happen. my understanding is that a letter was sent to mr. murphy's house. mr. murphy wasn't home during the summer. he was in ireland with his family. the variance was denied based on us not being there. i got a letter in late august. i called mr. murphy, unfortunately there was a family tragedy at the time i called. my client, mr. murphy it's father-in-law had gotten very ill and proceeded to die. when i called helmet, he was in the process of making arrangements to have the deceased brought back to the united states and to be buried. so it was a series of errors, partly on our fault, on our consultant's fault for not kiping in contact burk we also felt that i was at applicant should have been contacted to pick up the posters and notifie
